Chapter 8. Applying Animation Effects.
You can apply various animation effects to the slide to give a presentation greater impact. However, as with slide design you have to choose animation carefully. You want the content of the slide to be the audience's focus. Too much animation can be distracting and annoying.

The best way to discover the effects of the different animation tools is to experiment with using them. Follow the steps here to gain an initial understanding and then explore animation further on your own.

Slide Show View
Before applying animation, view your slides as a slide presentation.

Step 8.1 Ensure you are on slide 1. Click on the 'slide show' button.
